Well the house is a lot quieter now that everyone has left and camp has begun as of this afternoon. We aren't quite sure what to do to keep ourselves busy but we have lots of time to spend together as a family. The kids are good and keep on going. I am doing laundry today because it is nice outside, and Dwayne is lounging! We will go to Pelotas at the end of the month to visit friends and pick up Lidi and also get Jasper's dress sized for Pipa and Jordana's wedding in March (Dwayne's birthday). That will be a good trip and we can talk with Pipa more about Quest etc.

Some of the staff here have asked Ivan(staffer who is a friend of ours and S&P's) why we are just up here and not down there(JT) with them. Do we not want to work, help or participate with them???? He told them they don't know the whole story and that we would like to be there but aren't able to. One other said she thought we would be there, why aren't you and you should interfere more!!! Another says the staff is young, different and i could tell it wasn't so easy for her. These comments are hard at times because we can't be there to defend why we aren't there and we don't know if Roger or De have said anything or just won't acknowledge who we are and why we came. We would love to encourage and visit more with the staff but we don't want to start problems with Roger. Not easy but we will do what we can when the opportunites arise and God says go for it.

On a good note, we saw Jackson!! He is home from Seminary and doing some presentations at churches etc. He has a date to play basketball with Jado today and we invited him for churrasco tomorrow or before he leaves Thursday. He sounds great, positive and it is good to see a friendly face. Maybe if he is here tomorrow we can call you S&P or vice versa and you can say a hello to him.

Well should get more laundry going and get ready for lunch.
