Here's some fun pictures of our winter so far. Our ice rink from our road, the kids and Scott playing hockey and our family attempting skiing this past weekend. We had a lot of fun this past weekend. Scott took the whole weekend off and we snowshoed, skiied, tubed, and played hockey. It was wonderful. Well, I talked to Dwayne last night and we tried to fill each other in on everything that has been happening. God is definitely moving ahead with Quest. We literally feel like we are merely hanging onto His coattails. It is all very exciting and scary altogether. The piece of land that we would really like to buy (the one most of you have seen on pictures) is going up in price in March. The agent has told us that he will still give it to us for the $250,000 (Cdn) up until the end of February. So, we are about to take a huge step of faith. Pipa is talking to a pastor in the area to see if we could raise funds for the land in Brasil. Please pray for God's provisions. Jack is fully supporting our decisions and is happy to see it moving ahead. A huge part of us would love to be in Brazil right now, but we're NOT, so we are needing to balance Medeba, family and Quest right now. God obviously has us here in Canada for a reason right now, and we are grateful for that.

Anyway, there are so many details we are hammering out, but right now we are working on putting together a package for our supporters. We are planning on including a letter from Jack, a letter from us and a copy of our business plan. If God is going to bring this to happen, we will need a strong support team behind us. Interestingly enough, we have had several new supporters come on board in recent months. God is amazing!

Anyway, we'll try to keep you all posted. It feels hard enough to keep Dwayne and Shannon posted, but we will try to do our best. We have people looking into setting up non-profit organizations in Brazil, but we have the possibility of joining together with Daniel's camp in Curitiba. There is another trip planned in Feb for Dwayne and Shannon and Pipa to check out land negotiations, etc. Yes, lots to think about and even more to pray about. Tres, we've been trying to call you all weekend regarding airline tickets. Have you purchased yours? If so, when do you leave for Manitoba, because we will try to buy one for Caleb around the same time.
